Good news for the Scottsdale Pavilions as they have been recently sold and the new owner is planning $25 million in renovations. The renovations are necessary as the pavilions competes with recently built Tempe Market Place and Mesa Riverview. Both of the new shopping center have much of the glitz and glamour that many of today’s big box shopping centers have. I’ve been to both the Tempe Market Place and Mesa Riverview and the shopping experience at the newer stores is much nicer. All three retail centers have many of the same type of retailers however, Tempe Market place and Mesa Riverview have a better entertainment element.
